We live in an age of instant everything — instant messages, instant coffee, instant results. But God's kingdom operates on a different clock. And sometimes, His answer to your most urgent prayer is simply: wait.

Isaiah 40:31 promises, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

Notice that the promise is not "those who rush ahead" or "those who take matters into their own hands." The promise belongs to those who wait — actively, expectantly, trusting that God's timing is perfect even when it feels painfully slow.

Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac. Joseph waited 13 years from the pit to the palace. David was anointed king long before he wore the crown. The waiting was not the obstacle — it was the preparation.
