The world teaches us that strength means control — grip harder, push further, never let go. But the kingdom of God operates on an upside-down principle: true strength is found in surrender.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Surrender is not weakness. It is the courageous act of saying, "God, I trust Your plan more than mine. I trust Your timing more than my urgency. I trust Your wisdom more than my logic."
When you surrender, you are not giving up — you are giving over. You are transferring the weight from your shoulders to the shoulders of the One who holds the universe.
Prayer
Father, I surrender my plans, my fears, and my need for control to You. I trust that Your ways are higher than mine. Take the lead, Lord. I will follow. Amen.
